I thought moving to Montana was going to be a fun, exciting adventure for us, when in reality it's like living in hell. Ha. Really, we're so far away from family it's impossible to visit more than once a year if that. It's so expensive to travel home. The people here are incredibly rude, and half of the girls I meet are all drama. I am a very nice person, but if you do wrong by me, my kids, or my family, I'm done with you. That doesn't mean, you get to go around talking crap about me. I am an adult, so are you, act like it. There are a handful (well 3) people at this base I want absolutely NOTHING to do with ever! I have learned, it's a matter of he said she said.
My kids are MY LIFE, I WILL talk about them ALWAYS! They are the topic of 98% of conversations I have. If you don't like that then I don't care. I won't apologize for ANYTHING I have said or will say. If I said it, I meant it. As I said before, I am an adult, I will do whatever I choose to do. I don't care if you like it, agree with it or not.
But now, keep in mind, without meeting the bad, I'd have never met the good. I have some amazing friends here, and I will cry like a baby when we have to split our ways. The small handful of friends I have are the best. I wouldn't change them for the world. I am so thankful God has placed them in my life. We each have a best friend in each other. Seriously it's kinda divided up into two pairs of best friends for the whole bunch! It's amazing! I never thought I would have so much in common with these girls!
Choo and I have decided when we retire we're settling down in Soddy Daisy, TN. It's such a beautiful town and has everything we are looking for in a home town. I never see us and not being a military family, but I also never see us being able to be away from home for so long. I like the security the military offers. I don't have to wake up tomorrow and wonder if my husband will have a job in a week. I don't have to worry whether or not my bills will get paid. But I have to worry (not at the current moment but I will sometime in his military career) whether or not my girls will have their Daddy to tuck them in at night. I have to worry whether or not he's coming home to us safely. That's the hardest part.
As you all know Emmalyn was born. I haven't blogged in a long time. Emmalyn was born April 9, 2011. 4 pounds and 5 ounces. Just a tiny little thing fighting to breathe. She's now 7 months old and one of my two greatest joys in life! Weighing in at 15.1 pounds and 26 inches long she loves to eat and play with Caitlyn! Caitlyn is her best friend (aside from Mommy).
Caitlyn is just growing up way too fast. I look at her often and think where did my baby go? She's 28 pounds now and 35 inches tall! Too tall for 2t pants and too skinny for 3ts!

Lets Talk about Baby Gear!
So originally Choo and I decided to decorate the nursery in giraffe print, we're talking actual giraffe print. Unfortunately unless we want to pay an arm and a leg to get it then that's not gonna happen. :/ So we will still have the quilt made by Choo's mom that'll be giraffe and that'll be our touch there, but for my sanity and peace of mind we've decided to go another route. We finally have everything picked out!:D I love it all, it's just not what I wanted. The bed set is really vibrant colors which I like, I'm not a girly girl and I refused to do her room in pink frilly stuff. So now we just have to wait on the income tax money to make it's way into our checking account and then I'll be doing some online shopping! Since EVERYTHING is cheaper online and if I spend so much I'll get free shipping! I'm pretty stoked about it. Once I have it on hand I'll post pictures! Emmalyn's theme will still be giraffe, it just will be incorporated into the bedroom in different ways.
Caitlyn is getting so big! She's so much more talkative and active. I love it! I'm so glad she's decided to be more open! I have a friend who has a little boy that's 3 and him and Caitlyn are best friends!! I have to bribe her to get her to take a nap, if I tell her she can go see Tyty when she wakes up, she's game for a nap! And when she wakes up, she doesn't forget about going to see Tyty. She puts her coat on and her shoes and tells me bye!
Anyway, it's getting around bed time for me. I just wanted to update since I haven't in a while!

Due to Arrive May 2011
So yesterday we had our ultrasound! Baby "H" is now known as Emmalyn Blair! As bad as we wanted a boy, we couldn't be ANY happier that it's a girl! And it just means all of Caitlyn's clothes won't go to waste! :) Poor Choo is taken over by females. Emmalyn's heart rate was 149 and she was kicking like crazy! At one point she kicked the ultrasound thing off my belly! Caitlyn already loves her so much. She's always kissing my belly! Anyway, I just wanted to update on the sex of Baby "H".

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
So I'm now 17 weeks along! Yay:) We are "supposed" to find out the sex on Monday! I am excited, but I know not to get my hopes up! Caitlyn wouldn't let us find out her sex until MANY weeks later! Caitlyn has been so cranky these past few weeks. I just don't know whats wrong with her:(
We finally have our Christmas tree up and our outside lights too! I love Christmas. It's my absolute favorite time of year. Not because of the gifts, but because of the spirit of the season! Tomorrow I am going to buy Caitlyn's Christmas presents! I'm super happy Choo gets to be home for the holidays this year. He missed them last year!
Today is his one year mark! I can't believe it's been an entire year!!! Wow how time flies!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
It has snowed majority of the week, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! It's so beautiful. Caitlyn loves to be outside playing, as long as she's on the shoveled side walk! She WILL NOT walk in the snow! It's probably because the first time she walked in it, she tripped over a rock and fell flat on her face! My poor girl. Choo thinks it's pretty, but he hates shoveling the sidewalks and driveway. Poor guy. Elvis wasn't so sure about it at first, he would immediately freeze up once he stepped out the door, now he runs out does what he needs to do, eats a little snow, and comes back in and snuggles under his blanket:)
We're getting Paislee next weekend. I'm so excited I can't WAIT!!! She has gotten so big, and her mask on her face is beautiful! The owners say she doesn't like the snow. So we'll be buying her a sweater too:)I'm so excited for Elvis to have a friend again!
Anyway, we're getting ready to head out in the snow! We have to order a baby shower cake.:)
